Over several years, I’ve worked closely with Crack Magazine
on the ongoing development of its digital presence, contributing to a wide
range of web projects across the site. The work spans both front-end and
back-end development, including substantial PHP builds and bespoke JavaScript
components, supporting a platform that balances experimentation with editorial
clarity.
My role has involved treating the website as an extension of the magazine itself
— a publishing system where layout, typography, and interaction are part of the
storytelling. Design decisions are guided by pace, hierarchy, and rhythm, allowing
long-form features, multimedia content, and archival material to coexist within
a flexible framework that continues to evolve alongside the publication.
