In response to the circumstances surrounding the 2021 edition of the Swiss Design Awards, the event necessitated a transition to an online format. Embracing this opportunity to transcend the limitations of a physical gallery, we ventured into uncharted territory by leveraging digital tools. This endeavor enabled us to not only explore the artistic aspects of a digital exhibition but also revolutionize its creation process through collective engagement. Rather than perceiving the website as a standardized vessel for housing content, we sought to involve the participants in the design process of the interface itself. To accomplish this, we extended an invitation to the participants to conceive the floor plan for their individual exhibitions. Subsequently, we meticulously translated these hand-drawn blueprints into captivating 3D renditions, imbuing each exhibition with a unique essence.
